FIRST robotics was started by inventor Dean Kamen, the inventor of the Segway. Between March 4th and April 3rd, 2010, over 1,800 high school teams will be competing with their 120-pound robots in action-packed matches of 3-on-3 soccer. These competitions happen at regional events across the country, finishing at a championship event in Atlanta, GA. All of these events are free and open to the public.
